it’s gardening season! please don’t plant lettuces/greens directly into the ground in an urban area or close to a building without getting a soil test. the risk of lead poisoning is very high. if you can’t afford a soil test and you must plant into the ground, try to grow something where you will only be eating the fruit and not the leaves & stems (i.e. tomatoes, cucumbers, etc) bc there’s less of a chance that heavy metals will migrate to the fruit tissues. better yet, build a raised bed or plant in pots!

Okay so like a month or two ago a customer saw that I played games and as a prospective game developer he wanted my views, a female’s perspective, on games and gaming.

So I told him the things that crosses the girl gamer’s mind: how every main playable character is a white man, how unfortunate it is that a female’s pain, even death, is used for the feels of male characters, the unnecessary sexualization, how uncomfortable it is to be a female gamer on mic, so on and so forth. He thanked me for the insight, said he’d bring these issues to his professor so going forward they would keep these things in mind.

Well I saw that customer today and he gave me an update. Turns out his professor was a big ole misogynist. That he belittled those concerns and said that women didn’t matter. When the customer mentioned all his female colleagues who also wanted futures in gaming, the professor said they didn’t matter either.

So the customer went to the department head, complained about him, and the department in turn investigated the professor and found that women did have complaints about him but were afraid to come forward. So, in part, thanks to my comments on being a girl gamer, a man lost his job because he hates women.

Good.

And gaming and academia improved.

And nothing of value was lost.

Men, that’s how you help!

So, technically, he hates his mom?

As a female gamer, may I add that that shit never crosses my mind when playing a game. What matters is playing the game and not over analyzing minor things like character gender. Having a male main character does not mean that a female is less able or that they can’t be involved. It just means that the game developers could be appealing to their main demographic or that it’s just easier to assume that people want to play the game and not get their panties in a bunch over something so minor and unnecessary.

45% of all gamers are women/women-aligned.
so yes it’s bullshit that almost every main character is a white man.
Just because representation doesn’t matter to you doesn’t mean everyone else feels the same? Obviously a lot of people wish for more dynamic characters outside edgy white man in his late 20s/early 30s.
Representations of other genders/sexualities/races/abilities in media is proven to have a positive impact on demographic in question.

- Stop wearing panties made of foolishness. Cotton predominant only. or None, none works.

I do not care if this messes up my blog. This is important.

For that case (on white discharge), it depends on the amount. My doctor told me this.

If it’s white or clear, you’re good. If it’s white, clumpy (cottage cheese like), has a bad smell & increased in usual amount, then it might be a problem. Make an appointment and get checked.

Now ladies, yeast is already present in your vagina, so it’s kind of unrealistic to get rid of all yeast. Too much yeast is not good. The goal is to reduce the over growth of yeast & get your vagina back to a healthy balance.

Treatments consists of, anti fungal agents in forms of tablets. I know. Some people can’t really swallow tablets or have a trouble swallowing tablets. I feel you baby, I have the same problem. You can also use vaginal creams. Over the counter treatments are available, however, if you are pregnant, please, make sure any medications are approved by your doctor. You should get medications approved regardless, but if you’re pregnant, MAKE SURE you check back with your doctor.

Also, yeast infections are not commonly transmitted during sex and partners are not usually treated, unless they show signs. As in, itching or irritation in their genital area. Treatment for male partners consists of fungicidal cream on the penis.

Sometimes you might be a little unbalanced & that’s okay, just make sure you get to your Doctor & get on making yourself healthy again.

Some prevention and treatment guidelines for vaginal infections:

Have new partners wear condoms during sexual intercourse.

Stay healthy; eat well, get enough sleep, drink enough fluids.

Keep vaginal area clean and dry.

ALWAYS wipe from front to back after urination or bowel movement. You should know why. You don’t want no bacteria going all in your vagina.

Avoid using deodorant pads or tampons.

Don’t use petroleum jelly or other oils for lubricants.

Don’t douche.

Use medication as long as directed.

Avoid sexual intercourse until treatment is completed and you are symptom free.

Don’t scratch infected or inflamed areas; it can cause further irritation.

If using medication inside the vagina, use it during the menstrual period.

During an infection, use pads rather than tampons if menstruation occurs.

Avoid vulvo/vaginal irritants, including perfumed or deodorant soaps/body washes.

If symptoms persist after completing the treatment, an exam is indicated. Call for an appointment, and please use nothing in the vagina for 48 hours prior to your exam.

Also, my doctor told me to stop shaving earlier this month when I went to go see her. Pubic hair grows there for a reason. It’s not meant for you to shave off. It’s their to protect you. Yes, you can trim it. But don’t shave it all, or constantly shave. Giving yourself a fresh shave here and there is fine. But keep in mind that hair grows their for a reason. This is for women & men. If someone complains about your hairs, punch them in the neck. (Not literally) But, understand that they’re childish & they don’t deserve the cookie or magic stick anyways. Using clean fingers, apply some coconut oil outside and inside the vagina, and then wash your hands again. Repeat two times a day as long as symptoms last. Offer a coconut oil treatment to any penis which has been inside you lately because men can carry candida without showing symptoms.

The Shaving Charm - A shaving razor charm spell to help you get all the hair you usually miss.

* Inspired by the fact that i hate missing strips when I’m shaving!*

Needed:
- Your Razor
- Shaving Cream (I highly recommend shaving your legs with a sugar scrub if you have a disposable razor that you dont care about).
- Permanent Marker
- Smokey Quartz
- Apple or Poppy seeds
- White Candle

Steps:
- On your candle, draw or carve an arrow upwards towards the wick.
- Light the candle, and set the Razor you intend to use in the center of your space.
- Using your Apple and/or Poppy seeds, create a ring around the razor.
- Set your Smokey Quartz near your razor in the Circle.
- Use your Marker to Draw an arrow on the handle of your razor towards the blade. Add a period just past the tip of the Arrow. As you do this, think/say the following:
“ This hair of mine (Or Theirs) has grown too long,
It’s about time that it gets gone.
Make this razor,
Like a laser,
to clear the hair,
and expose cool flesh to air.
Make no cut of skin,
but make sure all of this hair becomes a has-been,
and with these words, Let us begin!”
- Make sure the markings are dry on the Razor, and then use it as intended.
- Let the candle burn while you work, but only if it’s in a safe spot. (make sure you clean up after yourself when you’re done!)
- The Charm will last as long as the razor stays sharp.
